Care to Care chooses projects which aim at helping other non-governmental organizations to care for humanity. For every activity we select a project using selection criteria like location matching our activity, aim of the organization, trustworthiness and need.

About our projects

We select our projects carefully using the following criteria:

Relation to a specific Care to Care Activity.
Non-racial, non-religious fundaments.
Fish or Fishing rod? We prefer a fishing rod, a solution with a perspective for the future.
According to the previous bullet, we think that one of the most important things to invest in is education.
Trustworthy, annual reports etc. should be available.
ANBI certified, to prevent tax issues.

Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund

South Africa is a country with countless possibilities, but also enormous threats. Some of those threats include, large scale unemployment, malnutrition, HIV/Aids.

Much has been achieved since Nelson Mandela formed his government in 1994. But much more has still to be achieved. There are still many homeless children, high levels of abuse, illiteracy and poor educational facilities in many areas. For this reason Nelson Mandela established his fund in 1994. Their focus is on helping children to build their own future by providing homes for the needy, treatment for the sick, food for the hungry and education for all. Special attention is given to the physically and mentally disabled. Care to Care have chosen the NMCF as our first project to sponsor. NMCF website.
